Thank you, Dr. XXXXXXX I went to my
dermatologist today, and my reacted red spot was Thimerosal which is very common in non-soap cleaners, Antisptic sprays, topical medications, eye makeup, and also in skin prick test agents. It is confusing but my Dermatologist said, he doesn't consider it as a positive result since Thimerosal is commonly found old time vaccine, I am 50, so i got
vaccination long time ago, but the childhood vaccine would cause False Positive reaction on my back like that? I had skin prick test in mid February this year and found
environmental allergy i mentioned in my past inquiry. Is it possible to make my idiopathic
urticaria occasioonally after the prick test with the sinsitivity to Thimerosal if i was allergic to it? I just read online that Thimerosal makes false-Positive reaction if i was sensitive to Mercury. I am Japanese, i have eaten a lot of fish by now, I don't recognize sensitivity to food contained possible Mercury. If I was not sensitive to Mercury, then the Thimerosal reaction on my patch testing should be reevaluated with follow up testing? i agree with you Dr. XXXXXXX I see it as positive reaction, so i take your opinion more pursasive than my Dermatologist opinion. I am still waiting for my
skin Biopsy resut. My Dermatologist is testing
Eosinophil in my skin to see if I have solid allergy and makes systemic urticaria. I am still seraching for more of possible allergen so your opinion about Thimerosal would be greatly appreciated.
Atopic allergy to multiple allergen in the air or chemicals would be harder to treat? I am scared but i want some more knowlege with your help. Thank you.
