Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I have read your query
and read your report
I think I have the answers for you
In your report, you have focussed on SGOT/SGOT.
I will like to draw your attention to the raised blood sugars and cholesterol as well.
That brings me to 2 possible conclusions
1. the lipids have been getting deposited in your liver thereby causing what is called fatty liver. This is eventually raising your liver enzymes.
2. the other possibility is that you have already been put on the medicines for the same. In this possibility, the chances are that you have not been told that both the medicines for sugars and cholesterol are excreted through the liver (partly or completely). And therefore the enzymes will be raised as long as you are on them.
If you are not on medicines yet, I will suggest medicines like atorvastatin.
As for silymarin, you can definitely take that as well.
Best of luck
Dr Mittal
