What Causes Erectile Dysfunction, Reduced Libido, Tiredness And Weight Loss?

As my erections weakened I' ve been using Cialis Daily for some 9 months now. Recently I put Cialis aside and stop using male OTC supplements for some 2 weeks, to check what happens to my erectile performance and sex drive without medication. The result is that my natural erections got weaker than they were 1 year ago. Also my sex drive went down when not supported by supplements.
That worries me very much because:
1) my health condition is fine and only strongly improved over the last year
2) I reduced my overweight significantly
3) I eat very healthy and do a lot of excercise
4) I stopped to use alcohol
My Testosterone levels are consistently low, around 9 nmol/L
Next to my erectile dysfunction problems, I quite often suffer from an unnaturally low vitality- level ( tired, no energy ), and that worries me most.
My specialist told me to come back to her if my erections worsen or I loose libido or get other serious low-T symptoms.
Do you think this is the right moment to seriously consider hormone replacement therapy? I am very motivated to stop my dependency of Cialis in my sex live.
Thanks,
yes it seems hormone is needed in your case.
Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!
I would strongly suggest trying testosterone replacement. This would improve your erection and vitality. Although if you have prostate enlargement and you need to make sure you don't have prostate problems because it might aggravate it. Be sure to also check your serum PSA to be sure you are not at risk of prostate cancer.
I would also caution you that even though you feel the improvement with testosterone, there might be still a chance that you will need Cialis or Viagra on an as needed basis.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-manuel-c-see-iv/66014 I would gladly help you. Best wishes

My PSA levels were checked a few times just recently and have been in the 2,6-2,8 range ( XXXXXXX is 4,0) so I hope I'm fine there??? I was diagnosed of a benign prostatic hyperplasia by a recent Transtectal US, with limited enlargement that is said to be well in within the norm for my age, without any symptoms or complains wrt urination etc. Is such condition to be worried about when taking Testosteron?
Another question: which additional blood tests ( hormone levels etc.) would you recommend to have available when I go to visit the urologist and ask his advice on T-replacement therapy? I can better do that upfront before I need another appointment with her because she will need that information anyway...
Thanks again !

Detailed Answer:
I don't think it will be a problem for you since your PSA is at a normal level and you have a normal age matched prostate size.
You'll need a complete blood count, serum creatinine and total and free testosterone level. You will also need to see your cardiologist to get clearance prior to therapy.
