Question: I have been dealing w severe sinusitis and sinus infection for several months. The infection has cleared after many different antibiotics steroids,flonase etc. however now i am having eustachian tube dysfunction in both ears and a lot of clear salty liquid in my head - i feel like im choking on it and also it comes out my nose and ears. Do you think this is cerebral spinal fluid leak?? Please help. I had CT scan done today but my doctor never mentioned this i just googled to find this out . Thanks

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Now to treat ETD we need to first establish the cause. There are certain tests like tympanogram, CT-PNS(para nasal sinus), nasal endoscopy & pure tone audiometry. Above all, physical examination from a consultant ENT specialist. You have undergone CT scan. It must have confirmed/ruled out ETD. Your doctor is in a better position to comment on that. If its ETD then treatment option includes:- endoscopic balloon eustachian tuboplasty & Frenzel's Maneuver. Along with procedure you will be given medical therapy as well.
