Brief Answer:
DEPENDS ON SEVERITY OF CONDITION.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
I have gone through your report, I think you have uploaded just the Impression of the scan.
Can you please upload the entire printed report, the images are not necessary.
Basically, the impression states that there is fluid collection in the brain of the baby, this can lead to abnormal development of the brain.
If the fluid collection is severe, it compresses surrounding brain tissue , and it is best to terminate the pregnancy.
However, if the collection is mild, certain options are available.
I need to see the entire report to opine.
Was this abnormality detected on any previous scan ?
Is this the first pregnancy ?
Please write back with more details.

Brief Answer:
CONDITION IS MILD, CAN BE FOLLOWED UP.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
I have gone through the report.
I request you to upload the entire scan report, and not just bits and pieces of it.
From what you have uploaded, I can see that the measurement of the dilated chamber is 12.5 mm.
From 10 - 15 mm, this is considered mild, so the prognosis is good.
Again, there is no other abnormality seen in the brain, so further chances are improved.
The severity of the condition depends on degree of dilatation , which is minimal in your case.
Termination is indicated only in severe cases, and not in mild ones.
Also, the effects on the baby range from mild developmental delays to severe mental and physical handicaps, with severe effects seen in severe dilatation.
So do not worry.
At present, this baby can be followed up with serial scans to see if the condition deteriorates.
The treatment depends on the severity of the condition found after birth in the baby.
However, I again request you to upload the entire report, not just portions and paragraphs.
The reason for such anomalies are not exactly known.
Deficiency of folic acid is one reason, in the next pregnancy, your wife should take 5 mg per day folic acid from pre pregnancy state until term.
Advanced maternal age, obesity, diabetes in the mother , family history of abnormalities - these are all additional risk factors.
Iron causes gastritis and burning sensation, try taking it after meals.
Also, what brand is she taking, probably I can suggest a better brand.
Take care.
