Gastroesophageal reflux disease
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
You are having GERD symptoms (Gastroesophageal esophageal reflux disease).
This is a condition in which the stomach contents reflux into the food pipe.
In addition to the medications you take, lifestyle/dietary changes are also important for complete relief.
1. You are obese. You need to reduce weight.
2. Avoid smoking /alcohol ( If you have these habits).
3. Avoid coffee, citrus, chocolates, tomatoes, fatty/spicy/masala/fried food
4. Avoid bedtime snacks. Go to bed at least 2-3 hours after food.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Brief Answer:
GERD is not serious condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
GERD is not a serious condition.
You can just follow the advice I have given in my previous post - Medications and lifestyle changes.
Your endoscopy is absolutely normal.
You do not need frequent endoscopy as of now.
In the previous post I have mentioned what NOT to eat. All the other food items you can eat.
Obesity is a risk factor for GERD. Weight reduction helps in relief.
And most importantly anxiety worsens it.

Dr.R.K.
