What Causes Excessive Sweating And Itchy Scalp?

Question: My son is 20. He has been struggling with over-heating issues. He has not been diagnosed with anhidrosis however, seems to exhibit alot of the same symtoms. He doesn't seem to get any relief no matter what he does. Is there anything that can be done to assist him? Would a endochronologist be the best to see?

I understand your concern.
An endocrinologist can only help if he has thyroid issues. Hyperthyroidism can cause over heating. If his thyroid functions are normal, probably an endocrinologist will not be able to assist you further.

Is he sweating at all ? What is his recorded body temperature like?

He sweats under his arms but, not excessively.He also, has very limited through his scalp which feels very prickly and itchy when both of these occur he can get horrible migraines losing periphal vision.He is limited in what he can do. He stays hot. He can become hotter when he attempts to do physical work.(It is unbearable)

noted your point. Very rarely, certain hormonal rush can present with flushing over body and face as well feeling of heat all over body. They are rare and usually episodic. It may be worth discussing with GP about getting a Chromogranin A and urinary 5-HIAA test.

He has hand tremors (had since little) The GP said that he has rapid heartbeat and a leak in his valve(not to be concerned with yet) Could he have thyroid problems that may not reveal in reg test?

well, if his Free T4 ( Ft4) and TSH were normal, then it can be assumed that his thyroid is normal. The leaky valve and palpitation your GP referred was probably mitral valve prolapse ( MVP).

I guess your son need a good general medical evaluation
