What Causes Excessive Urination?

Question: I have been worried because I am peeing more than usual. A month ago my blood came back and I was told all my levels were normal. GFR was 76 and now it is 59.
Albium was 5 and now its 5.1. and my anion gap is 24.

I wasn't told anything was serious from my family doctor, but when I read about this on the internet it suggests im in some type of chronic kindey failure! Do these numbers fluctuate that much? I have an appointment with a urologist tomorrow but I don't know how concerned I should be.

Your labs are not suggestive of chronic renal failure. There is only minor elevations which can occur due to number of other causes including physiologic causes. Please do not worry. Regarding your increased frequency of urine, it is better to measure the amount in 24 hours in a can.

Get the labs repeated at a later date and we can assess it more. Anyhow, visiting your Urologist as well will give additional information on examination.
