Brief Answer:
please upload relevant medical documents

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concern. Unfortunately the details are inadequate to form an impression. Could you please upload any prescriptions and medical notes that you have? In addition, could you please get your blood pressure measured? It would enable me to understand the situation and to guide you accordingly. As of now take plenty of water and fluids to drink.

I would await your response. Based on that I will guide you further.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Jakafi (ruxolitinib) is not a chemo agent. Your doctor is right.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Jakafi (ruxolitinib) is not a chemo agent. It is a Janus-associated kinase (JAK) inhibitor used for treatment of myelofibrosis (MF). It can however have a number of side effects.

Let me know if you need any specific assistance from me.

Why am I so weak and short of breath I feel so bad I have trouble functioning
doctor
Answered by Dr. Prof. Kunal Saha (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
The underlying physiological processes are affected

Detailed Answer:
It is possible that there is some adverse effect involved but otherwise the existing immune reactions (for which you are being treated) are enough to make you feel weak and sick.
