What Causes Fatigue, Muscle Cramps And Tingling Sensation In The Legs?

Question: Hello
I’ve been on this site a few times with my journey.
Approximately 6 months ago I moved from FL to VT.
3 months in I experienced severe fatigue and horrendous tingling, burning in my legs, feet (along with muscle cramps).
Went to Urgent Care – tested for diabetes, Lymes, thyroid, vitamin levels, etc. All came back fine except for thyroid levels were low: I have had hypothyroidism for almost 15 years.
My meds were adjusted and symptoms improved but hit a plateau even with the adjusted meds/and even after my thyroid levels testing now in normal range.
Still have severe fatigue and tingling, burning, muscle cramps in my upper legs— now also sometimes all over my body
Saw a neurologist 2 weeks ago — she suspects small fiber neuropathy — but need another test to confirm.
She also did additional blood work: Vitamin D (in normal range), ANA (POS 1:80), C-Reactive Protein (in normal range), Erytrocyte (slighty high 18 mm/hr), Ferritin (in normal range), Iron level (normal range).
My question is —what next? I want to get at the root cause of these symptoms. Should I be patient and wait until a nerve condition is officially diagnosed? Do I see another specialist — a rheumatologist? I know autoimmune diseases are tricky ducks to nail down. But I’m barely keeping my job right. So looking for professional insight. Thank you!
