What Causes Fever, Cough, Cold And Body Aches?

Question: Hi Sir
I am suffering from fever (100Degree) and also having cough and cold. I have already taken two paracetamol tablet one in the morning and one after dinner but still not feeling good. Having body ache also. can u please suggest me with appropriate medicine.

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

You seem to be suffering from Upper Respiratory tract infection (URTI). You should do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation at home.

Drink hot fluids like ginger tea, that would help in cough and cold.

But in case you have fever then you should see your doctor who will examine you and prescribe an antibiotic like Azithromycin or Amoxycillin.

You can take cetrizine for cough and Paracetamol 500 mg 6 hourly for fever.
