What Causes Fluid Retention In Forehead?
I have fluid retention in my forehead mainly on right hand side, this has been coming and going for 10 months-blurred vision at time, pain in head and neck= had CT scan (just shows a calcified mengimona on right hand side of head) have had a lumbar puncture which is clear
This indicates inflammation of cranial cavity.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
It seems from the history that you are having fever, lethargy, nausea, blurring of vision....
Since the tests are showing increased CRP level it indicates active inflammation.
The retention of fluids on right side in forehead indicates probable raised intra cranial tension. Blurring of vision can occur because of papilloedema.
Since the CT scan also shows calcified meningioma on right side this requires evaluation by a neurologist for further examination and treatment.
This appears like a chronic lesion involving the cranial cavity like inflammation or tumor and requires further examination by a neurologist.
Hence I advice you to consult your neurologist for further examination and treatment accordingly.
Do get back to me with his examination report and treatment advice so that I can answer your question more accurately.
Thank you
These symptoms indicate inflammatory condition.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
I reviewed your history.
A calcified tumour by itself cannot cause these symptoms but inflammation of the mass or increased size causing raise in the intra cranial pressure can cause these symptoms.
Hence it requires treatment by use of antiinflammatory drugs as of now and it does require evaluation as told by a doctor at emergency.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and get back to me with reports.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Thank you
With regards.
