Suggest Remedy For Right Parietal Parafalcine Meningioma

My father is 78 yrs old and just had an MRI done that showed a 25x25x30mm right parietal parafalcine meningioma. Would you recommend surgical removal or wait 3 months to re-evaluate to see if it has increased in size. Currently his only symptoms are dizziness when he stands up quickly.

Neurologist, Surgical 's  Response
Hello,

These symptoms are most likely caused by a drop in blood pressure as he stands up. So, meningioma is considered asymptomatic for now and it should be treated surgically if it will cause any neurological symptoms. Otherwise, the situation waits for an evaluation after three months.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
