Hello, About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a meningioma in the occiputal region, before that about Mid July I started having, slight but contenious tingling in my lt arm only in like three or four spots. Of course, I have h/a s and they are getting worse. Is the tingling part of the symptom of meningioma? I m a 55 yr old women. 144 lbs abd 5 6
The tingling is less likely to be related to the meningeoma. For this reason, I would recommend performing a cervical spineX ray study in order to exclude a possible bulging disc in the neck too, which could lead to tingling in the arm. Another test to consider would be nerve conduction studies.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
