What Causes Freckle Between Fingers?

Question: My daughter has a spot in between her fingers and just wanted a second opinion- her ped glanced at it and said it looked to be a freckle- just getting some Insight

I think I noticed it 6 months ago-
I do not know if if has grown or not
She is 5 years old

Hi

I have seen the attached picture.
The lesion surely looks like a freckle or a mole.
Basically both of these are pigmentary skin conditions and are essentially harmless in nature.
The lesion might increase slightly in size as your child would grow .
Basically moles are harmless skin lesions and can occur in anyone.
The only thing one needs to take care is that if there is any sudden increase in size or change in shape or a change in color pattern, then only such lesions need any further assessment.
Right now, I do not think there is any reason to be worried about.
