I'll start from the beginning
From time to time I get this pain on my lower back (left side) and when it occurs sometimes there is blood in stool or when wiping color is light red , the tummy feels bloated like trapped wind this usually stays for two or three days.
And usually I get this when I take methadone is that the cause of it ?
The medicine I take if the pain is bad is buscupan tablet which eases the pain and sometimes gaviscon tablet which helps the gassy feeling
This problem happens to me from time to time
What should i do to treat it and is it a serious issue ?
Please advice
Thanks

Brief Answer:
short listed the possibilities...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,
As per the description of your symptoms , it doesnt seem to be caused by methadone. we haven't reported any abdominal pain or bloody stools with methadone in my practice.
with your history iam short listing varoius possibilities
1. Acid peptic disorder
2. colitis
3. Anal fissure
Acid peptic problem can be relieved by taking Pantaprazole or Rabeprazole pills.
To rule out colitis/anal fissure , suggest you to take Gastroenterologist opinion once .
You may require to undergo colonoscopy which gives final conclusion.
if you have any further queries feel free to contact me
