What Causes Green Vaginal Discharge During 19th Week Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi I am 19 weeks pregnant and I had a small dot of green discharge today. Currently using clotrimazole pessary as I was detected with an infection. Is the green dangerous? It was literally a small green dot nothing after that.

Iv had an infection for a very long time now. Was on anti biotic before then drinking a lot of water then I had this bright yellow discharge with smell and white gush type and water was in fear of leakage of amniotic fluid so went for a scan and everything was normal Alhamdullilah. And now today a small green dot and like always all the dischRge always has an odour even if it's water. What do I do?

Do you remember what type of infection did you have ?
Is the first pregnancy and if not , did you have the same issue ?
What kind of bad smell does look like your vaginal secretion, is it like bread/ beer or spoiled fish/ rotten egg ?
Usually yeast infections have white to yellow cottage like vaginal discharges with itching and burning sensation without odor but when overrides by any bacterial infection, then they have bad smell like spoiled fish.

Hi this is my first pregnancy. 2 days Iv uses the pessary and then we went away and I forgot to use them came back home and started again then forgot to put yesterday.
I was diagnosed with bacterial viagnosis and yeast infections before it was bright yellow then after using the loo I would like a hot gush watery sometimes milky white come out and that's when I was scared it was leaking from ambitioc fluid went for a scan and baby heartbeat and everything was normal Alhamdullilah .

Hence try to contact with your follow up gynecologist because bacterial vaginosis should be treated with antibiotics (eg. METRONIDAZOLE), because non treatment of bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy can cause premature birth.
Clotrimazole needs to be used for 5 to 7 days .
