Such symptom can be caused by inguinal hernia. Please put your hand in the groin and try to cough couple of times (while standing). You may feel kind of protrusion in the painful area.
I suggest you to consult general surgeon with this problem. Physical examination and ultrasound should diagnose the hernia.
