Brief Answer:
Drug sensitivity and check HIV status

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

I understand from your history that you have an ulcer on right foot and tissue culture shows growth of a bacterium - alcaligenes faecalis.
Acaligenes faecalis is a gram negative bacteria which causes opportunistic infection.
A drug sensitivity has to be done for the infection to select the most sensitive antibiotic.
I am of the opinion that you should also get a HIV test done for assessment of your immune status.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Consult your treating doctor for test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Drug sensitivity is done on pus/ necrotic tissue/ fluid/ blood sample or any other sample.
Since, you have an ulcer on foot, the necrotic tissue from ulcer or pus (if present) will be used for drug sensitivity.
The material will be smeared on culture plates and clearance of bacterial growth around the drug or antibiotic discs will be observed.
You need to consult your treating doctor for getting the test done.
The test takes 48-72 hours depending on the growth rate of the infectious agent.
In the meanwhile, the ulcer should be cleaned and dressed properly to prevent any further infection.
Good nutrition and hydration should be maintained.

Thanks and take care
