Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
There could be many reasons for gum pain.
Some common causes include injury during brushing, vitamin deficinecy , viral infection.
I would suggest the following tips
1. try analgesics like ibuprofen .
2. Multivitamin supplements like zincovit syrup . I usually prescribe 5 ml once daily for such patients in my clinic for 1 month.
3. If not improving consult your doctor or dentist and get him examined.

hi Doctor we had to go to dentist because my son could not sleep due to pain. there is a molar tooth with cavity. doctor is suggesting for root canal. we are very worried about it. do you think root canal is a good suggestion at this early age? any other alternative we can try and see if decay goes fully.
Brief Answer:
Yes it is required
Detailed Answer:
I think your dentist has rightly suggested .
Root canal for tooth decay esp molar may be required if cavity is severe.
No need to worry.
It is a safe procedure.
Wishing him speedy recovery.
