What Causes Hand And Head Tremors, Urinary Incontinence And Lightheadedness?
Question: I have had hand tremors beginning with only the right side for maybe 10 years or more. They began in the right hand years later. I now have a head tremor which might have been too small to really notice. Incontinence is also a problem. Feeling lightheaded is also a problem. Recently I realized I'm not swinging my right arm when I walk.
These are resting tremors.
As time goes on, I am "missing" words more often and have to hesitate before responding to people. This began before the tremors. In fact, in the fall of 2000 made an apt to see a neurologist because suddenly I wasn't able to speak. I thought maybe it was a small stroke. The words were there but I couldn't get them out. The neurologist said it was aphasia.
A recent event in November that caused extreme stress has made every symptom worse and not by a little. It has been over a month and the tremors have not calmed down at all and are constant.
Can the increase in tremors be due to stress alone?
