What Causes Headache, Fatigue And Nausea While On Birth Control Pill?

Thank you for your time
You most likely are not pregnant
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX I hope I can help you today.
Signs and symptoms of pregnancy vary widely between women, and birth control pills can cause many of the same side effects that people expect from pregnancy, like bloating, breast tenderness. mood changes, spotting, nausea as headaches. It is also completely normal to have a very light menstrual period when taking birth control. Completely missing your period is the most common sign of pregnancy.
So I know that you suspect you are pregnant, but I just want to make sure that you understand that the pill is 99 percent effective against pregnancy if you remembered to take it every day and didn't miss any. You certainly may perform a home pregnancy test to be sure but I wanted to let you know that you may not need to me worried.
Also the color and opacity of your urine varies every day with what and how much you eat and drink. Urine can be cloudy if some vaginal discharge gets mixed with it as it runs out of you. A UTI generally causes painful, frequent, bad-smelling and/or blood tinged discharge so unless you experience these symptoms you are unlikely to have a UTI.
So in summary, it sounds like you are not likely either to be pregnant or have a UTI, but you certainly can perform a test to make sure.
I hope I was able to answer your question adequately today and that my advice was helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact me again if you need anything else or have further questions.
Best wishes, Dr. Brown
