What Causes Headache, body Aches And Fatigue Early Morning?
Question: What can I do to prevent feeling like I have a hangover almost every morning?
Most mornings when I wake up I feel like I have a hangover (when I haven't been drinking alcohol). I tend to feel generally dehydrated, headachy, tired, sick and achy. It takes a long while for me to feel 'normal' and this can affect my concentration, mood and work.
Doesn't seem to make a difference how much sleep I get. I drink plenty of fluids right up until I go to sleep and rarely get up during the night to urinate.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
since when you have such feeling of hangover?
have you ever tried any medication or taking sleeping pills ?
is there any other symptoms like sadness of mood, loss of interest, appetite disturbance, easy irritability, negative thoughts etc..?
sleep once disturbed leads to problem in all area and doesn't get refreshing sleep.
first of all do exercise regularly for 20 min a day and also do walking in night after 30 min of dinner.
There are many medication which help you like modafinil, fluoxetine etc..
once consult a psychiatrist for detail history and mental status examination.
Awaiting your response.
Thank you.

Hi doctor, thanks for your response.
I've had it for around a year now and haven't noticed any difference in the quality of my sleep during that time. I don't normally take sleeping pills as I don't feel I need to - I get 6-9 hours of sleep every night without much disturbance.
Have suffered from depression and anxiety since I was 13. For the majority of time during these 14-15 years I have not been on any medication and have managed with lifestyle changes. My depression hasn't worsened during the last year.
Aside from that I get panic attacks (for about 6 years) that are only triggered by driving (which I obviously don't do for that reason) and escalators/stairs in very open spaces. Have experiences vertigo independently of this and feels like that might be what causes it. Again, no medication for this because recommended by doctor was beta blockers and these made me feel unwell.
In general there have been no stressful changes during the past 12 months. My blood sugar levels, blood pressure and thyroid are all fine, and I have no allergies or food intolerance that I am aware of.
Thanks.
