What Causes Headaches After Consuming Herbalife Products?
Question: I am a 43 year old woman that had a hysterectomy on September. I am also a breast cancer survivor and my oncologist prescribed me a hormone replacement therapy which I forgot the name now. The thing is that I am trying to lose weight and bought some herbalife product. I am drinking the shakes but I feel weird and I am getting a little headache every time that I drink their tea and the shakes. Can you tell me if this is a side effect or should I don't take the herbalife products?
Brief Answer:
Donot take herbalife
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Please do not take herbalife as they can cause side effects as you describe.
No herbal product can cause weight loss. Only diet and exercise can no matter how convincing the sellers sound.

Can you explain what other side effects can cause me drinking the herbalife? Thanks
Brief Answer:
All known side effects in literature given
Detailed Answer:
Herbalife products have potential side effects you should be aware of. Because Herbalife contains a variety of ingredients, there is a potential for a variety of side effects depending on the product being used. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires that all known side effects be listed on the label of each product, along with instructions regarding what to do should you experience any of these side effects. There is also the potential of interactions with prescription drugs, so it is important to contact your physician or pharmacist before starting this or any other type of weight loss program.
This drug was found to cause primary pulmonary hypertension, and in 2004 the FDA outlawed the sale of ephedra. Herbalife then removed the ingredient from their products.
Many Herbalife products contain caffeine as a stimulant and metabolism booster. Caffeine can cause high blood pressure, nervousness and headaches, especially when taken in excessive amounts.
Soy and shellfish are two ingredients in Herbalife that could pose a threat for potential allergic reaction.
Diarrhea and constipation have been reported by some individuals who used Herbalife supplements, especially in the first few weeks of use.
