What Causes Headaches Along With Stomach Discomfort And Heartburn?
Detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
I read carefully your query.
Symptoms like headaches ,butterfly tummy ,fatigue, runny nose ,heartburn and difficulty to sleep are very common in pregnancy and are early signs of pregnancy.
The most important sign when pregnancy is suspected is a missed period.
I would appreciate if you add some information about your periods:
-Do you have regular menstruation?
-If your periods are late ,how many days are they late?
-How long have these symptoms going on?
If your periods are regular( they come in time every month) and your periods are late more then 1 week ,you should repeat the home pregnancy test 1 week after the first test.f the second test is negative too ,most likely you are not pregnant.
Once pregnancy is excluded your symptoms should be evaluated.
In this case symptoms like headaches ,butterfly tummy ,fatigue, runny nose ,heartburn and difficulty to sleep are not specific symptoms what means that they aren't indicative for a specific condition.
They might be related to a viral infection and may need some days to go away.
You need some rest ,eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water.
Avoid spicy ,fatty ,processed foods ,coffee ,chocolate ,,juices and all other foods that trigger heartburn.
Eat small frequent meals in stead of three major meals(this will help with your heartburn).
If you are not pregnant and this symptoms persist ,you might need to consult a physician ,get examined and get some tests done.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have other questions or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
Kind Regards,

Pregnancy less likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
I apologize for the delay in answering you.
Since you have missed 3 periods ,if you were pregnant it would be very clear by now and your home pregnancy test would be positive.
You are not pregnant.
You may repeat the pregnancy test just to be completely sure.
Considering your age ,your symptoms might be related to peri-menopause period (the first stage of menopause).
Change in hormones during this stage of menopause affects the regularity of the menstrual cycle(so you may go for a few months without a period then your periods return heavier for some other months).
This hormonal imbalance also can cause breast pain or tenderness ,headaches ,fatigue, mood swings or low mood, difficulty sleeping ,night sweats ,indigestion and bloating ,frequent urination etc.
I would suggest to consult a physician and get examined.
The doctor may decide to order some tests like :FSH level and Estradiol level to tell if you have started the menopausal transition.
Your FSH levels increase and estradiol levels decrease in menopause.
Usually this isn't necessary because the symptoms are clear.
-You may need to do some tests to exclude other causes for your symptoms including a pelvic ultrasound and thyroid function tests.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wish you a good health.
Take care,
Dr.Rovena
