I have had for the last couple of nights, terrible heartburn, have not been eating anything out of ordinary. So terrible I throw up because of the acid is also so painful in my esauphagus. Not sure how to spell it. Then my face is so flushed I am hot, but no fever.....Could this be an Ulcer?? I will wait to hear.....thanks, XXXXX

Brief Answer:
Get ECG and take Pantoprazole

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from Hyperacidity. If this is chronic with pain abdomen this can be an ulcer.
But I would also like to rule out Gall Bladder Stones and heart problems.
Answer me following:
1. Since when are you having it?
2. Is this chronic?
3. Any pain abdomen?
4. Any sweating, chest pain associated?
5. Any prior history of hear disease, diabetes, hypertension?

Till you reply me and I reply you back, I would advice you to get an ECG done to be sure its not cardiac problem. You may also take Pantoprazole 40 mg stat dose till then. If this is just Hyperacidity, this drug would help you a lot.
Stay Healthy.
