What Causes Heart Palpitations And Pressure In The Eyes And Nose?
Question: I have butterflies in the chest and pressure around the eyes and nose. Almost like hay fever
Brief Answer:
Please see the discussion below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
The butterflies in the chest is due to heart beating in an abnormal way ( palpitation). The pressure around the eyes and nose is probably an allergic phenomenon like hay fever. Did you measure your temperature? if so what was the reading? Do you have any other symptoms like running nose, sore throat or cough.
Are you known to be allergic to anything and did you have any contact with any of the things you are allergic to?
Do you have any other health issues?
Do let me have all the information which would be helpful in coming to the proper conclusion

In the past I have not known to be larger to anything. But since the hurricane has pastors or comment seems like this is come right on. I sleep well at night and I don't have any issues at night. The minute I go outside and stand up I start getting pressure in the head. My only other issue was the slight heart attack last year and nine blood clots in the chest it was on Xarelto for her year but they took me off a month ago

Thank you for the information.
Were you put on Xarelto because you had a heart rhythm abnormality called atrial fibrillation which can be paroxysmal ( off and on and not continuous)?
You may be allergic to some of the allergens and infections the hurricane brought along and is causing the symptoms of URTI.
If the symptoms persist, it would be better to see a doctor and have yourself examined and investigated. If you develop any tightness in the chest, breathing difficulty or sweating, please go to the ER.
In the meanwhile eat warm wholesome food and soups and keep yourself warm and keep away from precipitating factors like exposure to the rough weather etc.
Wish you good health and a great day.

No, Xeralto was because i had blood clots that developed from long periods of travel in a car
Brief Answer:
Thanks
Detailed Answer:
Xeralto is used in the treatment of venous thrombosis which had occurred in you and also prevents a clot formation in atrial fibrillation.
If the symptoms have not subsided , it would be better if you could get yourself examined and investigated.
Thanks
