Question: I am an 18 years female old and started my menstrual cycle yesterday. I woke up this morning and could not lift my right hand. My arm has full motion. The problem is just from my wrist down. My right hand also has feeling. Could I have slept on it the wrong way. This started about 10 hours ago.

Brief Answer:
possible ligamental sprain at wrist joint, more positional cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If there has been a heaviness and difficulty in movement while moving the wrist of the right hand, then it is likely to be due to a muscular or ligamental sprain or poor positioning of hand while sleeping possibly. It is definitely not related to your menstruation.
You may provide hot fomentation to your wrist by submerging it in warm water and that should soothe the wrist.
I hope i have answered your query ,
Regards
