Question: I just recently had my second mirena IUD removed spanning over 10 years I am bleeding very heavy again
should I get another one?

It is common to experience heavy menses for next few cycles after removal of MIRENA. It is suggested that you should wait and try opting for antifibrinolytics like tranexamic acid to help control the bleeding. As you are already 54 years old, MIRENA would not be a correct choice.
TRY antifibrinolytics for next 5 days and bleeding shall be controlled. Please meet your gynecologist and discuss the option and take an informed decision.
