What Causes Heavy Period Post A Miscarriage?

Question: I lost a baby 11 weeks ago (I was 14 weeks along). About 4 weeks ago I got my period - it was extremely heavy and lasted a week and a half. I am still getting faint positive pregnancy tests. Could this still be HcG from the last pregnancy or might I be pregnant again?

I guess I was wondering if it was possible that I had become pregnant since my period (which finished about 2.5 weeks ago. My husband and I have had unprotected since). If not, what might be causing this scenario?

It is likely, if you had unprotected sex.
But it would not show up on a urine test after 2.5 weeks.
If not pregnancy, the tests might be faulty.
Why not take a blood test or wait until your next period is due, and take a reliable urine pregnancy test.
