What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Post Hysteroscopy?

Question: My wife underwent hysteroscopy 4 days back and doctor informed she removed an overhanging layer on one side of endometrium which was also blocking tube opening. Doctor has prescribed Lynoral .05mg once, Cefpodoxime twice, Vizylac once, Paracetamol twice and Rantac 150mg twice a day for 21 days. She asked us to visit after 2 weeks. My wife had heavy bleeding throughout the day after surgery and thereafter for last three days having heavy outflow of flakes coupled with indigestion, feeling of vomiting and discomfort in abdomen. Kindly advise if we should inform the doctor.
