What Causes High RBC, Platelet And Calcium Count?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
These rises are not significant
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to Health Care Magic!
Based on the results you have shared, first of all rest assured that these reports are not significantly raised to suggest some pathology.
But since you have mentioned that these are on rising trend so it would rather suggest to follow up these labs on monthly or two monthly basis.
The increase in RBC and platelets can be normal marrow response following some infection. Here it would be appreciable if you can share the Hemoglobin level in the labs as low hemoglobin levels with raised RBC can be due to marrow compensation or thalesemia trait.
If hemoglobin is also raised much more than borderline the normal limits than the workup for Polycythemia Vera may be needed but at this stage their seems nothing to be worried about.
For this much platelets count, anti platelets therapy may not be needed but keep tracking any rising trends in labs after a month or two.
For the raised calcium, you may need to undergo Parathyroid levels and Serum Phosphate levels. But still it is also not very high to refer towards dangerously high levels or worrying causes like malignancies or ectopic parathyroid productions.
Keep drinking plenty of water and repeat the tests after a month.
Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
