Will Low Iron & Ferritin Cause Petechies On Arms?
I have polycythemia for the past 6 yrs, to bring my hg to 14 I have a phlebotamy every 2 0r 3 months and low dose asprin once a day. My question is I get petechies on my arms if I rub or scratch them I have low iron and ferritin. Do you have any suggestions

It is not related to your iron reserves. You can consult a physician to rule out other causes like bleeding disorders and low platelet count. Low platelet can cause similar symptoms.
