Brief Answer:
Combination of 2 or 3 drugs are necssary in most people

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Most people need 2 or 3 drugs
Generally, we add a small dose of diuretic (say 12.5 mg) of HydroChloroThiaZide (HCTZ) or Chlorthalidone
If necessary, we add a third drug - Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) like Amlodipine
Once the values are stable – change over to a fixed combination of these drugs / and once a day / – to make compliance easy.
The treating doctor could conclude better based on total clinical picture… and give appropriate prescription. It should not be done by patient himself...

Good luck
God bless you
