What Causes Hives After Fever?

Question: My 2 yo has developed hives as a result of a fever.Can I just leave it or how should it be treated?

Brief Answer: give anti histamine syrup Detailed Answer: Hello, Hives represent an allergic reaction. We can treat it with antihistamine syrup and wait for a day. However since you also report fever, I would like to review the skin lesions. Can you please upload a photograph of the lesions. This willl help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
