What Causes Hot Feeling Throughout Body, Arms And Legs?
go for Complete blood count and Serum Vitamin B12 and thyroid level
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
If your doctor has told that your problem is likely due to anxiety you should feel improvement with ativan. Tylenol will not work in anxiety. Clonazpeam is better alternative for anxiety.
From your history I think you there is need to check three things.
- Complete Blood Count - To rule out any hidden infection
- Serum Vitamin B12- Deficiency of B12 may cause such symptoms
- Thyroid hormone level - Hyperthyroid also can cause such symptom.
Revert back to me with reports.
If all three reports come normal and you do not have any physical illness, likely possibility is overactive sympathetic system due to anxiety.
- Let me also know if you have any stress or psychological problem.
Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

CBC and thyroid normal, for a while increase anti anxiety medicines dose
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for reports and sorry for delayed response.
CBC and thyroid reports are normal. No physical cause is likely there.
B12 report is pending.
For a while you can ask your doctor to increase ativan-anti anxiety medicine dose or shift to clonazepam. If your doctor is not used to prescribe these medicines ask him to refer you to some psychiatrist.
Take care.
Thank you
I do not recommend xanax, escitalopram is ok
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Escitalopram is good according to me.But I never used xanax. It has highest dependence potential among all benzodiazepines. I prefer clonazepam.
However many doctors use xanax. You must take it according to your doctor's prescription. Do not increase dose or frequency on your own.
If I were your treating doctor I would like to start duloxetine and etizolam/clonazepam. Later on etizolam/clonazepam will be stopped gradually.
