What Causes Hot Flushes While Suffering From Elevated TSH Levels?
Hypothyroidism
Detailed Answer:
Generally such symptoms are not known to occur in individuals with a TSH of 12.
On the contrary, those with untreated or inadequately treated hypothyroidism have sensitivity to cold ie they feel colder than usual and colder than others.
Your thyroid auto antibodies (ATG and ATPO) appear to be positive implying that you have a permanently under-active thyroid which will require treatment with a medication called levo thyroxine typically for life.
Discuss your TSH target with your endocrinologist in-person. Moreover, other reasons for your symptoms need to be explored.
When I see someone like you in my practice, I typically order the following blood tests in addition to a detailed physical examination:
CBC (Complete Blood Count, also known as Hemogram; includes Hemoglobin, WBC and Platelet counts)
Electrolytes (Sodium and Potassium in particular)
HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin = your 3 month glucose average)
Liver function tests (SGOT , SGPT, Albumin, Bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphatase)
Kidney function tests (BUN, Creatinine)
25 hydroxy Vitamin D
None of these tests require any fasting and can be done at any time of the day

Detailed Answer:
TSH is considered the best indicator of thyroid function.
So even though your T4 and T3 are normal, it still indicates a milder degree of under-activity of the thyroid gland.
Moreover, nowadays Free T4 is preferred over Total T3 and Total T4 for various reasons.
RT3 is ot appropriate for use in this situation.
Thyroid experts do not recommend the use of this test in the management of hypothyroidism
