Hello and welcome,
I'm sorry you are feeling poorly.
For the heartburn and pain, I recommend Zantac (ranitidine) 150 mg twice a day. You can buy Zantac without a prescription. Avoid acidy foods, citrus, tomatoes, very spicy foods, and decrease caffeine until you are better. If the heartburn is worse at night, get blocks to put under the posts at the head of the bed to elevate it, and avoid eating for a couple hours before lying down.
This may help the hiccups too, but sometimes drinking sparkling water can help that.
If the hiccups do not respond to the Zantac and sparkling water, call your doctor as you may need medication for this. Sometimes certain antipsychotic medications are given briefly to post-operative patients who have non-stop hiccups and they work well.
Now about the inability to sleep - is this from the heartburn, or from being too alert to sleep? If it is from the latter, it may be that your body was used to the sedation from alcohol, and without it you have insomnia. Usually when a person goes thru detox, alcohol is replaced with benzodiazepine medications such as lorazepam or alprazolam. You may need to be taking some of this (or more of this) and be weaned off of them more slowly.
