Brief Answer:
An underactive thyroid should be excluded.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
I read carefully your concerns.
If you do not have changed the diet or do less physical activity during the last months than an under-active thyroid should be ruled out.
For that you have to check the thyroid hormones; TSH, Ft4 and Ft3. If they result within the normal range, the next step would be to check the cortisol level and the electrolytes.
Regarding to your abdominal pain, i would like to know if it is associated with constipation, or is stronger while breathing?
A physical examination would be of help and probably an abdominal ultrasound.
Hope the information will help.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Mirjeta

the pain is stronger when breathing
Brief Answer:
Muscular pain is the most probable cause.
Detailed Answer:
Okay, Probably it is a muscular pain. You can try Paracetamol 500 mg ( or Ibuprofen 400 mg if no contraindications) and see if it relieves the pain.
Muscular pain responds well to anti-inflammatory tablets.
Regards.
