Brief Answer:
No cigarettes in 3weeks is the most likely cause and not echinacea

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this insomnia that you have reported. I have reviewed you information fully. Quitting cigarettes is the most likely contributing factor to your difficulty sleeping normally. This is caused by changes in the chemical milieu of the nervous system related to this quitting. It is not strange nor unexpected with cigarette quitting. However, it is not a reason to go back as the advantages linked with this are certainly a lot more than battling with sleeping difficulties for now. This will get batter. Try to take a warm bat, drink some milk, avoid napping during the day, avoid coffee and caffeine, sodas, etc. This will help improve your sleeping ability.

Keep me posted on your evolution. I wish you well and salute your efforts of stepping away from cigarette. It does nothing good but damages your health.
