What Causes Intense Itching On The Forehead?

The only thing that stops the pain temporarily is a cool shower. This is NEUROLOGICAL. I can't even go outside in the sun anymore. This is not topical.
Medical treatment would help.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, I agree with you that these sensations are most likely neurological in origin. I have seen several similar patients. This occurs because of involvement of sensory nerves (located in the skin). In my patients, i have used medications such as pregabalin or duloxetine with good success. You could try one of these.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
If you had reactions to duloxetine, please avoid it.
You can use pregabalin capsules.
It is called as Neurological itch, which are sub-served by the same sensory nerves that carry pain sensations.
