What Causes Intermittent Chest Pain, Weakness And High BP?
Question: My husband says he is experiencing pain that comes and goes in the middle of his chest. The pain does not stay long. Not sure how severe it is. He says he feels weak. Could this be the onset of a heart attack? He has high blood pressure but it is well controlled.

So, I recommend consulting the nearest ER doctor for a careful physical exam, coupled wit ha resting ECG, cardiac enzymes, chest X ray study.
If sufficient suspicions are raised, a cardiac ultrasound and other imagine modalities (such as chest angio CT or MRI) may be necessary for the differential diagnosis.
If the above possible options are excluded, other alternatives should be investigated as well.
So, my advice is to immediately consult the doctor.
