Brief Answer:
Pain can be likely from muscle spasm, please get examined

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. The hemangioma is small and will not cause any pain. You also do not have any gall bladder stones or kidney stone in the ultrasound report therefore that is not a possibility.

2. Your pain might be due to any muscle spasm due to working out or exercising. If the pain is there for only 10 seconds then it is not from any serious cause. Please avoid heavy exercises for some days.

3. It is important to know if you are having any swelling in the area below the rib cage then you should get it clinically examined.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Your pain can be IBS connected

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. IBS can cause pain under the rib cage and you might be having it. This is due to nerve irritation in the bowel.

2. A pain lasting for less than a minute and in some positions is likely due to muscle and nerve associated conditions.

3. Any sudden swelling under the rib cage can be from infection or inflammation. Tumors are rare in the region. Any swelling requires clinical evaluation.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound is an excellent tool to evaluate soft areas

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. Good to know you hdo not have any swelling. Ultrasound scan is an excellent tool to evaluate soft areas of the body. This is because ultrasound uses sound waves to generate pictures and this can visualize soft areas well.

2. To look through the bones, CT scan is a better tool but it involves radiation.

3. If things are not clear on ultrasound or CT scan then a MRI is recommended based on clinical suspicion of any condition.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
