Diagnosed With Anal Fistula, Liver Hemangioma. Pelvic Discomfort And Frequent Urge For Bowel Movements. Surgery Done
Had anal fistula diagnosed 10/2011 cutting seton surgery with rectal exam in 1/2012 it fell out 4/2012. Lower left pelvic discomfort and bowel urges throughout and still have, had abd/pelvic ct scan with oral and intrevenious contrast in 4/2012 unremarkable other than liver hemangioma which they said normal.
liver hemangiomas are many a times found by chance while CT scan is done for other reasons and they are often without any symptoms and dont require any active treatment. as far as your anal fistula problem is concerned you need to get examined by a surgeon to assess whether your fistula has healed completely or not.
pelvic discomfort and frequent bowel urges could be due to a different problem like Irritable Bowel or other bowel disease which will require a more detailed history.
meanwhile you can start by avoiding tea/coffee and spicy/oily food. take plenty of water and more of salads and leafy vegetables.
minimize milk intake. and do get yourself examined by a surgeon
wishing you a speedy recovery
