Question : I am a 52 year old female, i entered menapause when I was 49. I am having what feels like menstraul cramping, no bleeding. I am a well controlled type 1 diabetic

Just having a cramp like feeling can be related to intestinal cramps or a urinary infection. This may not be related to uterus or ovaries. To find out the cause you need to have a few investigations like a routine urine and an ultrasound scan. Till then taking an over the counter anti spasmodic can help.

So my worries of the cramping being related to any ovary or uterine issues are unfounded ? I have an appointment Friday with a new Gyno. Thank you for your time.
