Then pretty normal periods because of BC pull. Since kids vey heavy. My kids are 3 and 5. Recently had a very weird period. Lasted a long time with spotting .then didn't have one for more than a month. Then had a period for an hour. Then light spotting. Then nothing. Now have been bleeding heavily for a week. 2 negative pregnancy tests. Any ideas?
Brief Answer:
cause needs to be determined.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
You are struggling with irregular periods.
You have been on birth control pills in past.
The common causes for such irregularity of periods are hormonal imbalance (most likely), stress and anxiety, endometrial lesions and polycystic ovarian disease and thyroid disease.
In my opinion, you need some investigations to be done for evaluation of the cause:
1. Thyroid profile,
2. Prolactin, FSH, LH levels,
3. Pelvic ultrasound.
4. Local physical examination by a Gynecologist.
Kindly consult your local doctor and discus these issues.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.
