Question: I am taking meds for afib. Now am having irregular heartbeat, not similar to afib I have
experienced before Are they related ? Is the irregular beat dangerous ?

Afib can present in many ways. So even this episode of irregular heart beat may be Afib.

Afib can be very mild to life threatening. Unless you have any chest pain, breathing difficulty, giddiness or if your heart rate is more than 110, there is no need to panic but if any of the above is present you better consult your doctor.
