What Causes Irregular Menstruation, Cramps, Tender Breasts And Water Retention?
Hormonal disturbances likely
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Irregular periods can be due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease.
At your age group, the most common hormonal disturbance is polycystic ovarian syndrome.
I will suggest you to get your hormonal profile and ultrasound done.
Hormonal profile should include thyroid hormone levels, prolactin levels and testosterone levels.

Not a serious condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Itsnot ururgent to get these investigations done.
You can get these investigations whenever you have time.
Polycystic ovarian disease is not a serious condition.
It is a hormonal disturbance in which there is irregular or no ovulation, insulin resistance, irregular periods, and can lead to hirsutism( excessive hair growth on the face , thighs, abdomen).
It should be diagnosed and treated as it can lead to deranged blood sugar levels, if left untreated for a long time.
You should not take stress.
I am always here to help you.
