What Causes Itching And Tingling Sensation In The Leg Post A Dog Bite?

Question: Hello Doctor,
I was bitten by a street doctor 1 month ago during night , I consulted a doctor when I woke up I guess after 10-12 hours he advised me to have 5 dose of rabipur, I was wearing jeans when dog attacked me it was a scratch, now I have taken all the 5 dose but on my leg near scratch I am feeling little itching and tingling, is it a sign of concern? Do I need to visit a doctor or should I take any booster dose if available please make sure I am very nervous

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Itching and tingling at the site of scratch can be a sign of healing. After taking 5 doses of Rabipur there is no need to worry. This can be minor superficial nerve irritation. No need to worry. it will subside on its own in next few days.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
