What Causes Itching In Rectum And Vagina?

Question: my rectum is very itchy and has been for about a month. i noticed last night that there was something that looked something like a white build-up. my vagina is also very itchy. it doesn't have any discharge or smell. just itchy and swelling. i saw the dr about my vagina but all the test came back negative for bv tric and yeast. they didn't give me anymore insight as to what it is.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It is very likely that you might be suffering from worm infestation.
That explains the anal itching and the vaginal itching in absence of any evident vaginal infection.
it is wise to have a complete stool examination and local exam of the rectum to diagnose worms.
Also a vaginal swab should be carried out if internal exam of the vagina shows the least bit of infective signs.
Avoid touching the vagina after touching the anus.
Have protected sex.
After using the restroom, always clean from front to back, and not vice versa.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
